Passionate About Inspiring Others
I've been in the teaching profession all my adult life. I have an extensive background in behavior training, developing training plans and assessing outcomes. I am passionate about empowering women to learn to be their own first responder. I also enjoy teaching anyone that is eager and open to learning.
I was Co-Leader of The Well Armed Woman - Snohomish County Chapter for 5 years from 2013-2018. I volunteered as an instructor to teach NRA classes at North Whidbey Sportsmen's Association and I volunteered my time once a month to the Kenmore Range for their Ladies Pistol Night
My husband and I realize that we are forever students and therefore continue to develop our skills and education so that we can improve and learn how to be better coaches/instructors to our students. We enjoy competing in local IDPA matches and enjoy going to Project Appleseed rifle events. We both got started about a decade ago with the Defensive Pistol Club in San Jose, CA. We have done some vehicle tactics with pistol and carbine, house clearing, force-on-force, team dynamics, took an edge weapons class and I did a bit of TaeKwondo.
